 Rules

I. everythingFPS Sportsmanship

everythingFPS competitive play is based off of a tournament system which was created for players and teams to compete for fun and glory of FPS games. The tournaments are Community Tournaments and without a community we wouldn’t have tournaments to run.

We as eFPS admins hope to bring a fun and an enjoyful atmosphere to play at. Please remember we are here to keep things organized and we manage these tournaments completely out of our own time for you as players. With that being said, it is expected that all clan/team members are fully familiar with the rules.

Ignorance is not an excuse. All clan/team members are held responsible for the actions of their teammates. The poor decisions of one member may in some circumstances place the entire team at risk and so members are encouraged to educate their teammates on proper conduct and official tournament rules. Clans/teams and their members are required to respect the rulings of an administrator. Attempts to denigrate an administrator will result in a season long suspension of your clan/team.

All rulings are final. Play fair and have fun.


II. Pre-Game

RULES ARE SUBJECTIVE TO CHANGE IF NECESSARY
THIS IS A 5V5 BASED EVENT
THUNDER AND RHINO ARE BANNED AT ALL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE EVENT
NO PRIMARYS OR AUTOMATIC SECONDARY WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED
ALL ABILITIES ARE ALLOWED
MAPS ARE CHOSEN VIA MAP BANS FROM EACH TEAM

PRE-GAME RULES:
1. After teams have checked in (minimum 30minutes before the event begins) Team captains will need to join the "pre-game channel" For a short brief and overview of the ruleset.
2. Any teams that haven't checked in 30minutes before the event starts will not be allowed to participate.
3. Sign-ups will end 24 Hours prior to the event start time. Any teams signing up after this time will be not allowed to participate.
TEAMS:
4. This is a 5v5 based cup, so teams are required to have a minimum of 5 players in order to sign up.
5. Teams are allowed to enter a MAXIMUM of 2 teams per clan. Please represent one of the team tags differently so they are easily distinguishable.
6a. Players signed up as a subsitute for a team are not allowed to play or be a subsitute for any other team.
6b. Teams are allowed to change up to 2 subs between rounds.
6c. Teams are allowed to change up to 2 subs during game providing they are signed up and the other team agrees. Players dropping out mid-game for unseen reasons are allowed to be replaced by a sub. However they will not be allowed to continue that round.
7. Each team is allowed 2 pauses per match with a valid time of 5minutes per pause.
8. Each member of every team will need to set their team tag via steam or ingame console before the event begins.
9. Teams will be given the server they are playing on via discord PM. If a team is not on the server and ready to play within 10minutes of getting the server information they will be forced to forfeit.

SERVER:
10. Servers will be decided upon how many players are from each region. If there are 2 or more players from USA west, matches will automatically be played on a USA EAST server.
11. Games with an equal amount of players from NA region and EU region, there will be a coin toss done by an admin to decide which server will be used.


III. In-Game

INGAME:
12. The use of PRIMARY GUNS AND SECONDARY AUTOMATICS on purpose is strictly FORBIDDEN.
13. The use of PRIMARY GUNS AND SECONDARY AUTOMATICS on purpose will result in penalties. 1st time - A REF will give out a writen warning to the team. 2nd time - The Match will be paused and the player responsible will be forced to "suicide." 3rd time - The match will be paused and everyone on there team is forced to "suicide." 4th time - Team DISQUALIFICATION
14a. Penalty Warnings will reset after each match your team has participated in.
14b. ANY USE OF DELIBERATE GUN FIRE FROM PRIMARYS OR AUTOMATIC SECONDARY WEAPONS AT KEY STAGES OF A MAP TO SECURE THERE TEAMS VICTORY WILL RECIEVE INSTANT DISQUALIFICATION.
14c. ANY USE OF DELIBERATE GUN FIRE FROM PRIMARYS OR AUTOMATIC SECONDARY WEAPONS AT KEY STAGES OF A MAP WHERE THE DEFENDERS/ATTACKERS HAVE ONE SPAWN LEFT TO DEFUSE/PLANT OR TO RETURN/DELIVER AN OBJECTIVE WILL RESULT IN A STAGE 3 WARNING.
15. Spectators of any nature are not allowed on the servers whilst games are being played. With the exceptions of Admins,Streamers and Casters.
16. Admins have the right to PAUSE any match at any point of the game if there is an issue.

DRAWS:
17. In the event of a draw, The team who has completed the objectives faster will be the winner.
18. If both teams are unable to complete the first section of a map the game will be replayed. This only applies to games that are best of 1.
19: If boths are unable to complete the first section of a map in a best of 3 game, Both teams will be awarded 1 point.
20. If both teams capture the first objective but dont complete the map, The winner will be the team that made the most progression towards the second stage. If progression is identical best of 1 games are replayed and best of 3 games each team is awarded with 1 point.


IV. Post-Game

CHEATING:
21. AT NO POINT OF ANY EVENT IS CHEATING TOLLERATED.
22. Suspected cheaters will be monitored by Admins and if required can request the suspected player to record his/her game footage.
23. The player requested for game footage will be obliged to send game footage to the admins via videos uploaded to youtube or twitch stream within a 48 hour window for evauluation. Any cheaters found from footage will have all prizes withdrawn.
24. Any player guilty of cheating will be BANNED from all future events.
25. Any exploits of game BUGS or in console commands are strictly forbidden and teams will be DISQUALIFIED if such behaviour is noted.
26. Players with VAC bans younger than 6months old are not allowed to enter.

V. Disputes

If you are filing a dispute of the match then you need to send the dispute via the dispute form. If necessary please provide links to screenshots or recordings of proof of what you are disputing.

At any time during your dispute the administrator may ask for screenshots and/or recordings. If they fail to have these items then the dispute can be nulled.

Disputes will be handled by the administrators and can take up to a week for a final decision to be made.

Any decision made by an admin on a dispute is final. Any further arguments may result in other consequences.


VI. Forfeits

If a team fails to show or forfeits it will be marked as a loss, if single elimination they are eliminated, otherwise they will have the opportunity to play their next game. If a second match is then forfeited they are removed from the tournament. If this occurs during an official eFPS tournament the team could face a 3 month suspension.

Note: On tournaments that span over multiple days/weeks matches are to be scheduled using the match communication area on the website, any disputes regarding scheduling through steam chat, discord, or another type of chat will be ignored.


VIII. Closing

All pictures on the everythingFPS website including the official Tournament logos are the property of everythingFPS.com and may not be reproduced modified or transmitted in any form or manner without permission from the director or managing administrator of the tournament.
