EverythingFPS (“eFPS”) Privacy Policy
eFPS respects the privacy of its online visitors and customers. Accordingly, eFPS has adopted this privacy policy to guide how it gathers, stores, and uses information via the access and use of its services. While this policy is not designed to confer any legal rights, it is designed to advance an open and trusting relationship between eFPS and those who interact with its services.
This policy is current as of its last revision date. However, please note that this policy may be periodically amended and the most current version shall control.
Collection and Use of Information
By using eFPS online services, users agree that eFPS may collect data, aggregate information, individual information, and personally identifiable information (as later defined). eFPS may share such information as described in the policy below:
“Aggregate information” is information that describes the habits, usage patterns, and demographics of users as a group without revealing the identity of any particular user. eFPS will collect this raw data for service-improvement purposes.
“Individual information” is user information that is presented in a form distinguishable from information relating to other users, but does not tend to personally identify any particular user, or enable the recipient to communicate directly with any user without prior permission. This information may be used to improve eFPS services, for internal marketing purposes, or simply to collect demographic information about eFPS users. eFPS may use customer contact information to send information about eFPS, including news about updates, contests, events, and other promotional materials.
“Personally identifiable information” consists of a user’s name, email address, physical address, or other data about the user that enables the recipient to personally identify the user. Personally identifiable information will be processed and stored by eFPS in databases situated in the United States. eFPS may allow contracted service providers to access stored information, but such access shall be limited to the extent necessary to provide those services. In such instances, eFPS will reasonably attempt to bind the third party to the terms of this privacy policy. In some situations, personally identifiable information provided in connection with eFPS services may be made available to other users. For example, during registration, eFPS may collect a user’s email address and nickname, which may be searchable and available to other users who also use eFPS service(s). eFPS has no obligation to preserve the privacy of personally identifiable information that a user makes available to other users via eFPS-provided services. External websites and companies with links to and from eFPS online services may also collect personally identifiable information about users. The eFPS privacy policy does not extend to those external websites and companies; please refer directly to those external companies and websites regarding their privacy policies.
eFPS will take reasonable steps to protect the information that users share, including, but not limited to, setup of processes, equipment and software to avoid unauthorized access or disclosure of this information. eFPS may release, without notice, any and all personally identifiable information to comply with court orders or laws requiring eFPS to disclose such information.
Cookies and Other Information on a User’s Machine
“Cookies” are bits of electronic information that can be transferred to a user’s hard drive to do such things as customize and record a person’s usage of online service(s). Use of cookies is typically associated with websites, and eFPS does use cookies in tandem with its online services. For example, when a user signs into a eFPS online service, eFPS may store that user’s ID and other information as a cookie on the user’s hard drive. This cookie may allow the user to move between pages without having to repeatedly enter information in order to do so.
Chat Forums, Etc.
From time to time, eFPS may provide chat forums, bulletin boards, or instant messaging tools to users, known and unknown. Any information disclosed via such forums constitutes unprotected public information, and users should therefore exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in such forums.
Choice/Opt-out
eFPS intends to give users the option of discontinuing receipt of promotional email communications from eFPS. Instructions for discontinuing receipt of promotional email communications from eFPS will be provided to users.
